Central High School - Bond Project

Renovation and construction started at Central High School in the fall of 2006. Work will continue year round for the next three years.

$18,500,000 dollars has been allocated for the building renovation, a music room addition and office/media center addition. The instrumental and vocal music rooms will be renovated to provide more instruction space and a series of new practice rooms. The new media center will relocate to the 1st floor of the building making it more functional and accessible.

The new office/media center and the new music room addition will open with the start of school in September of 2007.

Footing Installation

New footings were installed in what was the old main office to support new steel columns need in the media center
